Self-exclusion numbers are climbing, with 1800 Ukrainians choosing to step away from gambling as per the commission's website.
Established in April 2023, this registry has been making its presence felt since its nascent days; it actually took root a few years back. A total of 315 individuals joined the registry in 2022, while the count stood at 195 in 2021, with most self-excluders falling within the 21-40 age bracket.
As outlined by law, self-exclusion periods range from six months to a span of three years, with requests once submitted, non-refundable. Submissions can be made directly to KRAIL, via email, or through a special form; digital signatures are required for online applications.
